Man suffers head injuries after car overturns on New Rowley Road in Netherton

Duo ‘miraculously’ escape serious injury as Audi Quattro vehicle overturns after smashing into lamppost and wall on New Rowley Road

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after the car they were travelling in smashed into a lamppost and garden wall before overturning in the Black Country.

Paramedics, police and a fire crew from Dudley Fire Station were called to New Rowley Road, Netherton, at 4.40pm on Wednesday, following reports an Audi Quattro vehicle had overturned.

Two men managed to get out of the vehicle and after being assessed by paramedics they were taken to Russells Hall Hospital.

The accident was on New Rowley Road at its junction with Warrens Hall Road. Police closed New Rowley Road whilst the incident was dealt with.
