Allowing learner drivers to have driving lessons on motorways

Today (Friday 17 February 2017) is your last chance to give your views on plans to allow learner drivers to have driving lessons on motorways.

Learner drivers would need to be accompanied by an approved driving instructor (ADI) in a car fitted with dual controls.

Any motorways lessons would be voluntary. It would be up to the ADI to decide when the learner driver is competent enough to have a motorway lesson.
