A little more about the show

The Royal Norfolk Show is the largest 2-day agricultural event in the country. It is held on a permanent showground on the outskirts of Norwich just off the A47. There is ample parking and hard roadways inside the showground. The Show is host to a large variety of livestock and horses, small livestock, cookery theatre and food hall, countryside area with displays and woodland crafts, village green entertainment and two full days of Grand Ring entertainment for all the family with free grandstand seating.

The Human Cannonball Show The Royal Norfolk Show is again host to David "The Bullet" Smith and his spectacular human cannonball display. David is flying in from America with his massive 10,000lb, 35ft cannon which has been shipped over specially by sea due to its enormous size and length.

Flying Demonstrations with Birds of Prey by Jemima Parry-Jones Jemima has recently returned to the UK having been in the US for four years and is probably one of the most experienced demonstrators in the country. Various stages of training and flying birds of prey are demonstrated and likely birds to be taking part would be falcons, Harris hawks, kites and an eagle.

The Rockwood Dog Display Team Martin Winfield and his team produce some breathtaking stunts, beautifully performed and professionally displayed. The dogs are all family pets; some have been rescued from bad homes and come in all shapes and sizes.
