31/10/11 - Free Mentoring Service

After many years in the driver training industry 5DAY recognise that not everyone will pass their test first time. The failure can be down to the stress of the test on the day or a technical difficulty.

5DAY are committed to all of their pupils obtaining a full drivers licence.
Therefore we have introduced our customer pledge in which we will provide free of charge correction lessons to correct any faults made on either the theory or the practical driving tests for as long as is needed, until a pass is obtained.

How does it work?
In the event that a pupil fails either their 'driving theory' or 'practical driving test', we provide FREE, UNLIMITED, ONE TO ONE TRAINING to quickly iron out the faults that were made on the test or tests.

For those pupils that are having particular trouble passing their driving theory, we provide FREE classroom theory lessons to correct the errors made on the theory test/s. This will go on until they do pass.

For those that are having trouble passing their driving test, we provide FREE practical driving lessons to correct the major errors made on the driving test/s as marked down by the DSA driving examiner. This will go on until they do pass.

Terms and conditions of the offer

Theory Test

Should the candidate fail the theory test at the first or any successive attempts the candidate can enroll onto the retraining programme by informing the training manager of their theory result and by attending unlimited theory training classes held at the training centre until either the candidate is happy to reapply for another test and / or the Mentoring instructor is satisfied that sufficient progress has been made and the errors fully corrected.

Driving Test

Should the candidate fail the driving test at the first or any successive attempts after completion of the 5Day course the candidate can enroll onto the retraining programme by submitting the Driving Test Report form (DL25) given to him/her after their driving test. The candidate must do this within 4 weeks of failing. Free remedial help to correct the errors identified as serious or dangerous by the examiner and as marked on the DL25 will be offered, until either the candidate is happy to reapply for another test and / or the Mentoring instructor is satisfied that sufficient progress has been made and the errors fully corrected.

To avail yourself of this offer: You must have attended the course in full. You may hire, but are not obliged to hire a 5Day car for either the first or any further tests and neither are you obliged to book your first or any retests through 5Day. Where a 5Day car is requested for use on test, and in the interests of public safety 5Day may withhold the use of the hire car should we consider that the candidates driving is dangerous. In this event and were necessary we will refund the candidates test fee in full and advise the candidate to hire an alternative car for use on the test.

This further underpins our commitment to our customers
